Today we are introducing the Achievement system. Those of you who were around three years ago will remember the secret avatars - this is similar.
These will be for doing small tasks; some will be hard, and some will be easy to find. Right now, you can choose to display one along with your Human Avatar on the forums, however that is the only place on the site where it is displayed right now. ;)
Good luck, and have fun finding all of them! Of course, we will keep adding to them in the future. :)

nice, I like these types of things...but I'm guessing everything we've done thus far isn't counted? ouch. that's gotta be rough for something really hard to accomplish that someone really wouldn't want to do again.

i remember those! i managed to ge some and then because they wanted the human avatars, they have been removed. im not sure im happy they're back since i dont really have time to search for them. oh, well, goes hunting lol

Hands down SWEET. The avatar collecting was the only thing keeping me tied to Neopets, now I can sever those ties and collect here. <3
Would it be possible for you guys to add a "Display None" option to the selection menu? I just earned two Achievements but I'm not fond of how they look under my HA and I'd prefer to have it invisible again.
I remember them, Bag of ballons, gummy fish, stuff like that it was fun. I remember the fourm for them and every thing. I was wondering when they would come, Keith mentioned them in one of the Keithanswer vids so I was wondering.

I kind of figured these would make a comeback someday, seeing as how people had really enjoyed the old system too. I think my only complaint with these is that you can only display one at a time. I would like to put a shout out to the programmers working on this thing. Could you guys/gals (in the near future) add an option to display more than one achievement at a time when posting on the forums? Please? puppy eyes

Oh my god. I just got on, took some sP out of my vault and got this millionaire achievement or something and freaked out. Like wtf is this!? and no one was talking about it on the forums... @___@;; ... And I remember avatars. I was so excited about those when I joined and immediately set out to collect them all, just like I do on neopets XD then we could trade 'em for clothes when they were taken down. Fun.
