Zoshi_the_Confused - I looked into it because you told me to get an animal and compare the anatomy. It took some time to find to pictures. After looking around I have some to thing that the position of the scapulas are a bit off. I'm not sure about the hind legs but they can work and look ok in the picture. <a href="/redirect.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fi6.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fy212%2FAlkseeyaKC%2FBoards%2FPicture8.png%5B%2Furl" target="_new">Here is what I came up with.</a>

There for people may not think its there. it would e good to show some how that its there. Other wise it could leave the view confused as to what they are looking at. B. If someone is saying it looks odd, wether they are smart or amateur, if something doesn't look right to them then it doesn't look right. But you also need to keep in mind that not everyone is going to see the same thing. Just like it look messed up in my eyes and it look perfectly fine in your eyes.

OK yes the NM creatures can be in odd proportions and odd poses. but they still kept some form of proportions. Whats going on, though we can see a little but of it. its missing the upper part of the for-arms. Thus making it look like the lower half of the arms are just sticking strait out of its neck or chest. There could have been a lot better pose for the arms that could have given us where things are going. Other wise this Paralix looks like some of its joints were dislocated and jamed into its body. Maybe this pose would have been better for a zombie Paralix.
The only other thing that would have made this Paralix a bit better is more smoke coming off its body. Its lacking in that area compared to other nightmares.

The paralix looks fine (Maybe a little insane), but the escalade looks terribly squished. Not squished like the GY terricoon, like it got it's right shoulder and left flank grabbed and shoved together by a giant. Other than that, it's awesome.

The Nightmare Paralix is really awesome, but I can't help feeling like the pose on the Graveyard Escalade is kind of boring, and the design as a whole doesn't seem quite as imaginative as the other recent Graveyard pets.
To those who are saying the arms on the Paralix look weird: they really do, until you realize that the upper arm is especially short on the Paralix as a breed, and the arms are bent at the elbow, which is tucked in close to the body. The pose is doable, but it's probably pretty uncomfortable. XD

To be honest the way the Paralix is twisted makes it look like something fell on it both injuring and smooshing it! The Escalade looks like he came up from Hell, which is all right!

Either these pets are super cute, or my sense of spookiness is shot. <3 I'm loving these two. It proves that graveyard pets can actually have some class, and nightmare pets can be scary AND mischevious.

The twisted body worked for the Nightmare Feli, but not so much for the Paralix. I think that the twisted positions of the limbs just make it look weird and goofy, instead of scary and menacing. I really like the face and the big fangs though <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_happy.gif" border="0" />

The paralix is awesome, though the it's right back leg bothers me and also that it isn't so...dark as when nightmare first came out? <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> It is pretty awesome though, I like the eyebrows and it's face is like "WANT SOME CANDY? :B It's in my MOUTH."

I'm rather lukewarm about this paralix... The pose is nice, the anatomy isn't the best. I'm having a hard time accepting the limb positions. Especially the left arm. That bend is terribly unnatural, even if it's a made up being in a nightmare color. The face is gorgeous though.
But updates like this are making me slowly start to dislike the nightmare color itself. The older ones were much more convincing of a nightmare. The abundance of wispy clouds (or whatever you wish to call them) really added to the effect. Newer nightmare pets seem to have lost that quality. Not to mention the shades on the newer ones seem to be drifting toward a brighter level than the previous interpretations.
I don't really have anything to say about the escalade.

I bet the artists would LOVE it if you'd just comment on the released ones. They are working their butts off and some people only mention other colors/species or slip it in as a hint. I am sure they are working on them.

Mm, not a huge fan of either of these. They're not bad, but I find the anatomy on the paralix kind of weird, and the shading on the escalade kind of ...maybe plastic-y is the way to describe it.
