Woah. I didn't realize my post would cause such a comossion XD (Well not my actual post, but alot of things stemed from it...) Anyways, it's true what Piraiya said, it was an honest question. No hint. I'm not even looking out for any BR pets xD
(And upon closer inspection I noticed the wierd colour in the Escalade dail was the BONE! It made me wanna hurl...in a good way? XD)
And I agree with whoever said that it's GOOD that the Paralix looks disfigured/uncomfortable or whatever; it is a nightmare pet, after all xD

Zoshi_the_Confused - I looked into it because you told me to get an animal and compare the anatomy. It took some time to find to pictures. After looking around I have some to thing that the position of the scapulas are a bit off. I'm not sure about the hind legs but they can work and look ok in the picture. <a href="/redirect.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fi6.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fy212%2FAlkseeyaKC%2FBoards%2FPicture8.png%5B%2Furl" target="_new">Here is what I came up with.</a>

Another thing that needs to be said is something I leaned in art school. A. not to hide things. Say the shoulder on the left looks like its not there. There for people may not think its there. it would e good to show some how that its there. Other wise it could leave the view confused as to what they are looking at. B. If someone is saying it looks odd, wether they are smart or amateur, if something doesn't look right to them then it doesn't look right. But you also need to keep in mind that not everyone is going to see the same thing. Just like it look messed up in my eyes and it look perfectly fine in your eyes.
Sorry for the hard critic. But this is the place for that right? If not I wont comment on these things any more if my opinion doesn't matter. =/

Now, I want you to take that animal, look down at it from above, and pull its paws out to the sides like the Paralix's are.
If you are actually able to pull its upper arms away from its body farther than those of the Paralix without injuring it in the armpit area, then your comment will be right.
As is, the Paralix's body structure and anatomy, when compared to the creatures of our world, is similar to most four-legged animals. And as such, it should be concluded that its upper arms, which people seem to think are lacking, are connected by skin in the underarm area. If that is true, then there really is no way for the Paralix to stick its arms wide out to the sides. It's not possible.

Fabulous job, artists! The escalade may be a bit more simple than the other recent GY pets, but I really, really like him. The simplicity is a positive thing here and anyone who says otherwise is daft as a box of hair.

OK yes the NM creatures can be in odd proportions and odd poses. but they still kept some form of proportions. Whats going on, though we can see a little but of it. its missing the upper part of the for-arms. Thus making it look like the lower half of the arms are just sticking strait out of its neck or chest. There could have been a lot better pose for the arms that could have given us where things are going. Other wise this Paralix looks like some of its joints were dislocated and jamed into its body. Maybe this pose would have been better for a zombie Paralix.
The only other thing that would have made this Paralix a bit better is more smoke coming off its body. Its lacking in that area compared to other nightmares.

I think the nightmare paralix is awesome! It's face it so "Evil" I just love it~~ It's pose is nice, too! I dont know what to say about the other one, though, not really detailed - it could use more "Dead" to it.

Arg, the paralix looks nice, its body pose makes me twitch, especially when I opened it in paint and took a close up look, but I think I might get one still, its face is fantastic.

The paralix's expression is really nice, and the bones on the Escalade's tail are awesome, but I'm not sure about the rest.
Sorry to say but I'm very disappointed with the Paralix <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" /> Its does look cool enough and the position its in is a little.. wacky. I was looking forward to a nightmare Paralix but this one didn't really satisfy my need for a creepy enough looking Paralix.
