While the Nightmare Paralix seems very eager to make your acquaintance, the Graveyard Escalade seems to be puzzling over the effects of its recent Zombee sting. Both are ready for new homes!

That is your opinion, maybe even that of the artists, but I hardly think Engima was trying to be rude or selfish.
These posts between us are wasting space though and unneeded, especially seeing as they have nothing to do with these pets specifically anymore so I'm going to stop now.

There was nothing rude in there at all. Just an honest question as to why there are no recent BR pets since the color is spooky/scary like NM and GY.
As for selfishness- lets remember where we are. Subeta is providing us a service. We want stuff, we get stuff, Subeta staff get paid with donation money, everyone is happy. The staff have been really good at listening to our critiques/suggestions (let alone actually letting us do it). What nIght said was completely acceptable.

...Except they did comment on these pets Nikki. They actually complimented them on the new pets, they weren't being dismissive at all, or rude.
To be honest the way the Paralix is twisted makes it look like something fell on it both injuring and smooshing it! The Escalade looks like he came up from Hell, which is all right!
So pretty. And for once I really like the Graveyard pet, though I'd still never get one. XD Nice job!

Either these pets are super cute, or my sense of spookiness is shot. <3 I'm loving these two. It proves that graveyard pets can actually have some class, and nightmare pets can be scary AND mischevious.
The twisted body worked for the Nightmare Feli, but not so much for the Paralix. I think that the twisted positions of the limbs just make it look weird and goofy, instead of scary and menacing. I'm rather lukewarm about this paralix... The pose is nice, the anatomy isn't the best. I'm having a hard time accepting the limb positions. Especially the left arm. That bend is terribly unnatural, even if it's a made up being in a nightmare color. The face is gorgeous though.
But updates like this are making me slowly start to dislike the nightmare color itself. The older ones were much more convincing of a nightmare. The abundance of wispy clouds (or whatever you wish to call them) really added to the effect. Newer nightmare pets seem to have lost that quality. Not to mention the shades on the newer ones seem to be drifting toward a brighter level than the previous interpretations.
I don't really have anything to say about the escalade.

I bet the artists would LOVE it if you'd just comment on the released ones. They are working their butts off and some people only mention other colors/species or slip it in as a hint. I am sure they are working on them.

I love, love, love the exposed tailbones in the Escalade's tail! It's such a great touch.
And the Paralix looks like what's hiding in little kids' closets or under their beds... Those whiskers kill me, they're so greaaat...
