This is SO gorgeous. The quality of the art is just astounding. The fact that our pets look like this is why, simply put, Subeta is the best.

I think this revamp looks great. The legs look a bit twisted, but in all honesty I think that helps the overall look. Loving the expression too, and the pearls are a nice touch...

Ooh, okay, that makes sense. I thought it was running at first, but looking at the hind foot I can tell it's not actually setting on anything solid, and the toes are splayed, so swimming does make sense.
its pretty and all but the old hydrus hekee was one of my favorites tht kinda sucks its changed
Very, very nice revamp! I can see why the missing off-hind leg is a problem for some - and from a conformation standpoint I agree with them. Even swimming there should be /something/ of it showing - but I can suspend my disbelief enough to buy what the artist was trying to portray here and accept that it was probably an aesthetic choice to remove it, depending on what the off-hind's position is in conjunction with the reast of the animal.

Aw man, now I'm going to have to change my hydrus hikei to something else. I'm not at all a fan of the teeth and the head looks tiny in comparison to the neck.

And the teeth look like horse teeth, which are a bit longer and fiercer than My Little Pony wants you to believe.
I like it, but the back foot looks a bit flawed, and the other hind leg is completely missing. Unless I'm going blind. -squints-

The hind leg is not missing, just obscured from view. If you imagine that the hikei is swimming, you understand the pose.
I like the new art work, though it has some flaws that bug me.

I dislike this new look. He looks like hes in pain or miserable about somthing. I waited a long time to get the Hiki turned. Disapointed they changed there look.
100000000x cooler and more vicious than the original. Major major love to whoever is doing these recent Hikeis, because they're fantastical. For srs.<br/>Is it missing the far hind leg though? Or is it just hidden behind the bigger front legs?
