I really love that pose, and I have been waiting a long time for the hydrus kerubi <33
I have one suggestion, though it's probably just a matter of personal preference. But I like the more subdued colors of the hydrus pets, maybe a bit like this:

Oh wow! The kerubi is very pretty, indeed. I love the light blue that's all over her. For some reason it stands out more to me than the other Hydrus pets. Dunno why. So lovely. The pose, the eyes... gah. I want one. xD

This is nice, I really like the coloring, and the tail.
But, one thing, I don't really like the paws. They look a bit off to me, and the lines seem a little shaky.
