Aww, I really love the torrent!

XD But it's so awesome that I might just have to get myself a DM Escalade regardless X3 Good job on the new pets~ [Can't wait for the DM Serpenth seeing how good these are bounces]

Ahahaha. It is hilarious to see so many people confused at the defiance of up/downness that the Torrent has. XD May none of you ever go into space.
HOWEVER, fish are NOT boring! They are quite interesting, with awesome personalities and fascinating social quirks. They only get 'boring' if you're so speciesist you can't understand that someone could have value outside of a connection to humans.
That said, they look awesome.

Kudos to the artist for doing something different and original with the torrents pose.
However I do think the rotated version is easier for the eyes to follow and has more flow in that composition. BUT they look great either way and if people really want it rotated, use an overlay <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />

@asfghn I know that fish can do that, but it doesn't make it any less odd. I'm not against the pose, just commenting on why it does look weird. I really like the torrent, ever since its major revamp I think they're absolutely beautiful. I don't think its a boring species at all, and actually think that "upright" looks just as good. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> The current one is just a little off looking by nature lol

@BladeRunner -- though they might have an "upright" pose, many fish types do occasionally flip upside down or dive down to the bottom of their tanks, say. (I bred guppies, I should know!)

I can admire the use of low gravity and free movement for the Torrent's pose.

The Torrent is awesome, though not a big fan of the Escalade <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> The art itself is great (love the fluff!) but the pose is kind of boring.
