Profile to ProfileOh my sweet jam. Please do not get me started on the Sony PlayStation no more disc thing. What they are trying to do doesn't make sense and looking at the sales video (that I've seen) it looks like the physical purchases of disc are still higher than the purchases for digital games. Then again Dutch and Mexico aren't too happy about those digital only purchases!!
It's been way too hot for me to leave home lately unless I need to go out. Fun wise no thanks.
Well all files to me are important on a computer mostly photos (thousands of pet pictures and videos).
I'll keep her safe unless my mom wants her back because technically my mom did buy the computer. I would love to rebuild myself. That computer holds a lot of memories for me and I don't want to throw her away.
And yes Sony did go into people's digital libraries deleting movies and videogames that people already purchased. According to Sony that stuff isn't yours in the first place even if you bought it. I don't know what Sony is up to, but that's okay because the next console I was going to buy is a Steam Deck.-HyperBlossom-
Profile to ProfileI don't talk much to people either. Some times I rarely leave my house. I won't really talk to people unless I have no choice to inactive, give someone a compliment, or if they wearing clothing to my favorite game/tv shows/anime/music singer or band. I like talking to people on Subeta. Both long timer players and new players.
Truth be told, I do upset when they do stop and you have no choice, but too replace them.
I remember turn off the EMachine computer and drying her off as best as I can while in the mix of a panic attack for her. I did everything I could to make sure there was no water in her casing and I set a fan on her. She stay like for 3 days. It took another 3 weeks for me to turn her back on so I could backup her memory on a micro SD card as my mother requested. The EMachine work fine. Normal start, her one beep when she power on, and she behave normal. I get halfway through the backup and the room heats up! The heat is coming for the computer! I quickly grab the fan from my room to cool her down. Once that backup got finish I turn her off, take off her side panel and look inside her casing. She looks normal and undamaged, but that rain water must have done something to her that I can't see.
My mother and me took the EMachine to two different repair shops and explain what all happened. I didn't like the first repair shop because they didn't listen to us and told us to toss her. Never went back to them again. The second repair shop was more helpful and listen. They turn on the computer and waited about 20 minutes for the logo to appear on screen and they also notice that she heated up quickly. They made another backup of her memory (better than my backup) and only charge us $20 bucks for the back up. They told us we can do two things either buy another computer, or take this one apart and rebuild her.
My mom got a new computer and I some time later bought Eva, but I kept the old EMachine computer. I was gonna save up some money and get someone to rebuild her for me. I don't want to toss her, because she holds so many memories for me and most of those memories are tied to my sisters and me having fun.
Ask for the companion cube, I think those people did something without Valve's permission. I can't really remember anymore because Sony now has my attention going into people's digital playstation library and deleting stuff those people paid for. It's a lot of stuff going on and I can't read/watch everything. They are giving me a headache. T_T-HyperBlossom-

The Emachine indeed did protect my cloud. (I have a bad habit of naming my devices too, and my call my cloud Clarity) My Cloud was perfectly dry, but the Emachine computer was soak and I was afraid to move the mouse because they would have woke it up. I had to shut the computer off properly and when I touch the mouse I heard it's fan spin and then it made a horrible sound that I've never any machine in my life make before. I thought it would exploded, but no she turn herself off perfectly. That whole day was a nightmare! My aunt doesn't understand that she ruin a $600 dollar computer that is discounted, but I find it hilarious when she needs help to do something online. I help her yes I do, but these smartphones are still weaker than a desktop computer. Not everything can be done on a smartphone.
I love the little steam machine because they remind of the companion cube from Portal. They are very adorable!! I hope they keep it for a long time. I hate to see things end in 4 years, but some how it feels like 20 years.
I under that feeling. The longer you have a device it some how gains a soul. I guess because you use the device everyday so it some how becomes a companion towards you. Chill listening to music, watching cartoons/videos, helping you with work/school and yes I know this all sounds stupid, but this is just my point of view of it. But that device grew with you, so I think it would be very hard to depart from it. I'm pretty sure most people don't even want to get rid of their first car too.kieshara
