Humans evolved to be vegetarians, how could our fine artists forget that its totally unnatural for people to eat meat and thus fail to realize depictions of cooked meat are extremely offensive!

I think the revamps are lovely, and although I prefer the darker scheme on the Clawsion, I love the face and I'm surely going to get one. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />

I think the mallarchy is pretty funny, I like the twist on the graveyard thing, so I'm glad whomever was responsible for the revamp didn't change that. : D The clawison is nice too, I just think the mallarchy is a teeny bit more special. ♥ Both are beautifully drawn in any case, great job artists!

I agree that the Clawsion looked much better with a collar. I heard the argument for getting rid of it was "Not all of them are domesticated" ...Well, the Chai kept its collar, so I don't understand that.

I've had the GY Mallarchy since it was first released, as you can pretty much tell by the name of mine. I too miss the tiny skull on its head, but the body of the new one is a big improvement. I would like to see more of the longer white leg bone sticking out, and the tail a bit stubbier and more plucked looking like on the old version, but it's a generally good update, especially since the old lineart was a tad thick.
You know, the hilarious thing is that I didn't even start this clusterfuck; I didn't like the revamp, and I said so. It was my offhand comment that it doesn't look like a dead bird to me - actually, given the shape of the tail and the neck being awkwardly positioned, I could have called it a fish/duck image - that got people up in a tizzy.

Hey, I like the new revamps of the both the Clawison and the Mallarchy. If I wanted to create one Graveyard pet, it would hve to be the Clawison. It looks better than before. And I love how the Graveyard Mallarchy seems to be giving everyone a dirty look. Great job on the updates!

what are people getting their panties bunched up about? pretty sure the mallarchy isn't intended for shock value or anything - it's a fairly fitting portrayal. it's silly, and cute. and i don't think any comments made by those in defense of the mallarchy are anything worthy enough to accuse someone of watching 'rape porn' over...

Oh man the mallarchy is hilarious! I love the idea! Really nice job guys! They both look amazing! Don't listen to these other people, I don't really understand what their problem is. It looks great!

They are artist renditions and certainly it's good to have user feedback, but just saying they are terrible without reason is rather... much without appreciating what it took to produce them.
I think the artwork is great. I do feel the clawsion could have a more darker color and feel to it (such as these colors are a bit pastel and brighter than what I expected a graveyard pet to be). However, I like the pose because it makes good use of space (not too much whitespace) and the details are way more believable than the original. As for the mallarchy, I thought the idea was hilarious previously and I don't understand why you have to take humor into offense... but I too would have preferred a more normal looking mallarchy (but I guess I'm just too much of a conformist XD) despite how much flavor it brings to our subeta environment (makes us a little more unique, right?) . I love these revamps. Honestly, great job! I think that this clawison looks more dead than the older one. The older one to me did not look as dead, it looked like it had eyeliner on.

I have never heard the term 'carnist' before and when I google it, little to nothing comes up (other than a single article that doesn't load and an uninformative youtube video... and some people with the last name 'Carnist.') Obviously it's not something that is used widely and I doubt it will ever become as commonly used as 'racism' or 'misogyny.' Do everyone a favour and get over the fact that people eat meat. I like the new Clawsion and don't feel so and don't have any feelings that oppose the change. But that might be just because I've never owed/wanted/cared about the GY Clawsion or Clawsions in general.
While the new Clawsion is much more impressive art wise as well as looks more like its actual species than the old one I still can see why people don't like it. The new one has this proud look and is kind of cute too, where as the old one looks more... well... dead, which is kind of the point of GY pets.

I like the new art; Beautifully soft colors and lineart. But-- the Clawsion revamp just completely lost it's style. To me, it looks like another cuddly disney-style lion. I also would like to have seen the yellow teeth and claws. The stitches and scars are a nice touch, but the expression just lacks what the old one was. The eyes look absolutely alive. To me, it doesn't look so much dead, as it looks more like a ratty stuffed animal. -- My opinions.

I love the revamped Clawson, especially all the little details it has that make it love fucking squee worthy. You can't even claim that a roast bird looks like that, since real roast birds look much more disgusting and slimy. An actual dead bird has all it's feathers, it's wings and tail don't look like stubs and the the body doesn't look so smooth. Mmm ... not a fan of the new clawsion. Oh the drawing is good, but the overall look is ... flat. The wings don't pop like the dark gray ones did. It's missing strong lines or dark shadows. And it lacks character. The old one was cute. This is one ... smug. Kinda looks like a jerk, if I were to give it a personality. Not true to the spirit of the old design.

I love the Mallarchy's roasted body, it makes it unique and stand out. These pets are <i>dead</i>, and dead duck-like birds tend to be roasted up for dinner XD

So, I do like both of them - but I feel as though the Clawsion has lost something. It doesn't look GY. Well, it LOOKS it, but it doesn't... feel it, y'know? It's just missing something. GREAT art, grand work on the artist's part, but.. it's missing something.

I find the Mallarchy really offensive. I don't like the sight of ducks or any animal like that. I personally love ducks a lot, and have been around them for a long time, and it hurts me to see them that way.

I love the clawison. It reminds me of a bulldog for some reason. Though I liked the collar, but that's not really a big deal. And the mallarchy is a great revamp.

Nice jobs, Artists. :3 Though I'm a little sad about Chesid being revamped (I've had a GY Clawsion for nearly five years now), it was needed, and I knew it would happen. However... I'm not too fond of the new look. Just my personal opinion; I do not mean to offend. It just seems that there's something this Clawsion lacks (and I don't mean the spiked collar! xD). I can't even say what, because I'm not sure.

The new clawsion looks awfully bulldog-ish. Not sure how I feel about that. The art is lovely, but its snout is just so flat and the face is a little wide, and the eyes are so wide and cutesy. The old clawsion's eyes were more sinister. I do like the wings though. ♥

I never said I didn't like Wesker's new look ..The old clawsion was outdated and it seemed flat. The new one seems most interesting and well defined. The collar we knew would end up leaving.. That didn't matter to me as well wasn't a defining feature..I loved the eyes, but again thats just me.. What made the Gy clawsion Scream Wesker to me, since Wesker has silted eyes.

I don't like the new clawsion. The old one was more, I don't know, it had more personality. The new one just looks like a fluffy zombie. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" /> I think the Clawsions should have kept their collars in the redraw. I've always thought that. It was why I like them, and why I changed both my GY and Spectrum ones, because I knew I would be too attached to the old arts, and not like the new ones. Not that it's bad, it's good art; I just liked the old better. And I think the new GY Clawsion is too cute. :/
Neither species is one I'll ever own, so I don't really have a stake in this - but I love them. That Mallarchy is terrifying.

Actually, graveyard pets don't have to be horrifying, they just have to be dead <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" /> Sometimes they can be horrifying, sometimes not, but it's not a requirement of the colour when we're drawing them! Bloodred are definitely supposed to be scarier, and nightmare are the pets from your nightmares - all creepy and twisted.

Wow the clawsion looks much MUCH better now! I'm sure I'm not going to be the only one who thinks it's adorable in a graveyard sort of way. The mallarchy made me lol. The artists are doing super great jobs!
