This is a pretty cool feature. I've seen some interesting uses of it already. Sometimes the head shots look like the old custom avatars. Very nice!

Haha, makes me think of the customizations of profile pictures on a certain Book of Faces website ...^^;; Nice idea, though, especially with more abstract or focused avatars. I like the variety I see here in this news feed!
