Wait, the Charlie is supposed to be pulling the rainbow off its face? How does that work - why would a spectrum trail be coming out of its eyes? They normally flow from part of the pet that's moving.
The old one looked like it was dismayed that a spectrum trail was coming from its paw, and was trying to pull it off by treading on the edge of it and yanking its arm up. That made sense to me.

Daw, that Chai looks like he came straight out of the books my sister used to read me when I was little. So adorable!

Love the chai! Sadly my overlay now doesn't really fit anymore, but having the pleasure to look at that chai on other places, is ♥! XD
The new spectrum Charlie loses something in the ex.pression, his face doesn't look nearly as disgusted as the old one. :C
Both of these are so cute (: I can actually distinguish the Charlie's pose in these new ones haha. Before I just thought he was kind of hitting himself because he was angry that he was spectrum colored or something :b now I see he's pulling the rainbow off his face, how cute (: thanks artists ~

I'm glad you can more easily tell that the charlie is pulling the rainbow off it's face in the updated version, lol.
The chai is 100% better too, the old one just looked like it had some rainbow disease with all the splotches.

The old spectrum chai was one of my favorite pets. I personally am not a fan of the new one :/
I like how the old chai had splatters on the face, and I prefer the purple around the eyes instead of the rainbow.

The art is gorgeous on both!! I can see where the charlie's new expression is a tad more confusing. The other one did look angrier, but the art. drools
I wish the poses were more dynamic and that the arms and legs don't overlap with the body. The artists should look into silhouetting the characters before finalizing them. They do look better than the older versions though.
I like everything about the Charlie revamp except the face. The rainbows over the eyes look really odd (and the one on the left eye looks like it continues from the spectrum trail on its paw), and the expression doesn't look half so 'BLEH!' as the old one did.
Glad to see Charlies getting any attention though; they're my favourite species.

I actually prefer the old Charlie. Oh well, now I know which pet I'm changing into a Bumbus...

I personally don't like the spectrum pattern on the Charlie's eyes...looks like it got scratched. O.o otherwise they're both adorable!

Somehow the old spectrum charlie anatomy worked better for me. The new one looks a bit like his tiny legs aren't meant to carry his massive head. Apart from that I like both updates a lot! <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_heart.gif" border="0" />
The Charlie totally looks more like it wants to kill whoever used a spectrum potion on it lol.

Well, I think the Charlie looks really great! : D Good job, artists! I have to say, I definitely like this one better. It looks really good!

I think, on most pets, the facial expression is really important.. and that's what people get mad about when you change it.;;; Liiike the Charlie.. the new one looks awesome, but I LOVED the disgusted expression he used to have. I don't know if he's still supposed to look disgusted, but if he is, it didn't really work. He looks sort of angrily ecstatic to be pulling that rainbow off his face.
I do like how you're keeping old poses to keep the players happy. ^^

Hm, I really do prefer the old Charlie. Its expression is a lot better. I'm not a big fan of the really thin lines, either.
Lisey, certain pet colors are worked on at certain times. Eventually all pet colors will be released, you will just have to be patient.
Very cute, but I wish that instead of concentrating on revamps you guys would concentrate on getting some new pet colors out; like a hydrus fester and angelic jollin. A year ago I was told quite nastily in a thread not to ask about new pet colors b/c eventually they would all be available. Not complaining, just saying.

The only thing that I really don't like that much is the multicolored fur around the eyes. I don't mind that it's multicolored instead of the old purple. What bothers me the most is that the fur looks more like flames instead of splotches of paint like it use to. To me most of the spectrum pets look like white pets that have been splattered with colors of paint.
Other than that I think the revamp looks amazing. Can't say much on the Charlie revamp though since I don't own one.

I love the old charlie a bit more, it looked a little more...unhappy that the rainbow was taking it over. The mouth seems more off than normal, but it may be that its hand is just in the way. Still cute updates x3

The Charlie looks rather pissed that this rainbow much has found it's way onto his face & body.
charlie looks awesome, but the art on the chai doesn't look too improved :v to me it looks just the same.
They are much brighter now, it seems ^^

Oh cute! And they didn't change TOO much which should make current owners stay happy. I've always loved the Charlie's expression and I'm glad it's basically the same!

But I don't understand why the charlie artists keep making the head bigger and bigger. It does not, in anyway, make it cutter. It actually is kind of making it...distorted. Now I know you are all working hard, and please don't think I don't appreciate that, but there is a limit to big headedness that I think we all have reached. And, I think this pets revamp would be a lot more...appreciated, if two little things were changed.
1) The head is too big
2) The mouth is too long. It's long enough to where we can't see the end of it behind its hand, making appears to be doing this, <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_grin.gif" border="0" />, rather then this, <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/smiley_sadface.gif" border="0" />
