Totally love the idea for that one! Although I might only buy one book to read it to my pet right now, seeing as my battle pet is fairly weak still.

I'll certainly remember this guy when she gets stronger, though. Does anyone know it's beginning stats for the first stage, so I know what to work towards?

It would be amazing as a color!
It doesn't matter that other sites have similar pets. In drawing, this concept is used often.
It would be like one site have a pet with fire, then no other could. Go for it <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_wink.gif" border="0" />

Actually my first thought was it kinda looked like a rusted proto drake in Utgarde Keep. I'll wait for the next sale for that one. But as everyone else already said - the art of the lizard thingy is outstanding! I especially like the structure of the dark parts of it's skin looking like burning wood.

This is what I've always thought Reborn pets ought to look like. Who cares if Neo has a pet color similar to this, I'd still like to see it as a pet color here. The Tome seems like a lot of fun to me. Will buy it next time there is a Cash Shop sale.

I don't like the thought of having to pay to battle but bought it anyway.

For anyone who reads these comments, this is a multi-challenger. You defeat the first one 70 times to unlock the second challenger, defeat the second one 70 times to unlock the third I believe. I haven't got that far yet. Cara posted in the battle chat that once you get the challenger, you have it forever so it's not a one time thing.

I have a question though. The image is "/battle_forjpatriarch.png" but the achievement says Forj Matriarch. Is one of these a mistake or are the Matriarch and Patriarch two different enemies?

Definitely like the idea behind this. Not sure about the price. I might pay 500 for it, but 750 seems a lot to pay before you even know how far your pet can get..

It seems like it unlocks a hidden opponent, like Nightshade or Mama Mush. So the tome itself it one time use, but the opponent seems to stay in your list.
