Catching Waves!

Kahana the young free-spirited surfer; quickly became well known, in his home island O'ahu. Joining each surfing composition that came his way; he was always very competitive even as a child. But he always encouraged and supported his fellow surfers.
Kahana always knew there was something about him that was different. But his foster parents loved him all the same. His still very close to them even today. They're the reason for his strong passion for surfing. The two parents were retired pro-surfers, teaching their adopted son how to surf the moment he could stand on a board.
Now at the age of twenty-three, he works at a local hotel. Entertaining tourists, mostly doing shows; or serving them as a bubbly waiter. He loves meeting new people everyday, but his favorite part of work; his doing his side-job. Teaching both locals and tourists how to surf. Nothing is more thrilling too him then teaching someone else how to surf; sharing the passion and love he has for being out in the ocean.
Something about being out at sea almost made him feel safe and close to home. One of his past-times is going out at midnight; laying on his board looking up at the stars. Giving himself a few moments of peace and quite; shutting out the world and just allowing himself to relax and break free.
Growing up on the island; Hana met new and old friends over the years. He recently met a new friend; and from the moment he met Malana he felt a connection between them. After much encouraging Hana taught him how to surf. Showing him a part of his life, he treasured the most.
The two would often go out night-surfing, gazing out at the stars getting lost in conversation. Now he always finds a way to spend time with his new friend. He enjoys taking him around the island; rock climbing, and walking through the forests. Because no matter how many times he takes the same trails; the view will always take his breath away.
