Camilla hails from the city of Baldur’s Gate. She is the youngest of four, and although her father left shortly after she was born with her family remaining relatively tight lipped about who he was and what he did. Although she and her mother still inhabit the expansive estate, Camilla’s mother’s high standard of living often does not line up with their financial reality. Her mother dreams of Camilla marrying money, continuing to provide for her mother in some capacity. Although Camilla adores her mother, marriage is not something the young woman is seeking out. She cut her teeth tumbling with her brothers as a child, and has since taken to the streets to carve out a niche as the “Iron Beauty” in underground fighting rings. Often she would bet on herself, taking all challengers and collecting the coin as the sun rose. A bit of powder and rouge and her mother was never the wiser—or so Camilla believes.

When Camilla came of age, her mother made attempts to seek out suitors that could both rescue the family home and provide a healthy cushion of comfort for her mother, Camilla left on the eve of her arranged wedding with only her weapons and the coin in her pocket to prove that she could earn her keep without a partner at her side (or at least, none of the ones her mother had picked out). She found out about this protection gig from a local barkeep and is eager to send home a fat coin purse to keep her mother afloat. She also hopes to reconcile with her brothers, and eventually find out what happened to her father.

Camilla traveled with Vendek, Medrash, Finn, Zahk, and Mucc for several months. They became known as the Sventari, renowned for their ability to fight dragons and right the injustices of those wronged by The Cult of the Dragon.
