Among the Angel's I was known as an Diamas, I was tough, strong, willing to do anything asked of me unquestionably. I was given the task of being Riese's Guardian Angel and in order to let those that would bring harm to her known I was her protector I left my mark on her left shoulder. I watched over her for years, helping her without her knowing, but something had tipped off her father.

Years before his passing he knew his daughter was very special, not an ordinary girl, but one that held a special gift. As she grew her beauty marks began to paint a picture, plotting a location and telling a story. Her markings were fully developed by age 5 and by that time her father had made the discovery.

I hadn't known until all was done what my real purpose was. I had been lead down a path that had altered this young girl's life in ways that would later be clear to her. It would eventually touch the lives of many for years to come and by the end of it I'd meet the love of my life and begin to question if I did indeed have free will.

When I decided to fall from grace I was unaware of what it would cost me. I fell through the clouds trying to straighten myself, but the force of the fall pushed me down on my right side and thinking of bracing myself, I folded my right wing over my arm, but it was a mistake that changed me. As I fell, my wings began to transform to that of a fallen. The magic burned my entire arm and rendered it useless. As I continued to fall in agony unable to slow my descent I lost all control and spiraled into the ocean.

No one had ever explained what a fallen would go through. I believed that I'd be able to land not as damaged as I was, close to the ones I loved. Instead I was in agony, drowning in the sea.

The moment I fell I was cursed. Forced to forever have wings half of an angel and half of a fallen, those who recognize me for what I am will know of my choice. My right arm was damaged bearing the scars as a reminder. I'll never have full use of that arm as I once did.

Pieter, you've shown me what love is. I never knew these feelings until I met you. I did what He asked without question, didn't think for myself until you came into my life. Without you, I'm nothing. I can't live without you now that I know you. Forever yours, forever mine.
