-Buttons and Bows-

While wandering around downtown Centropolis, I stumbled upon a quaint boutique. The sign above the door simply said Buttons and Bows. I decided to go in and see what they sold. The bell on the door tinged as I entered and I heard a small voice say 'Morning Dear, Be with you in a second', a few minutes late out popped an adorable, little Popoko. She was the cutest thing I had ever seen, she reminded me of a vintage doll. She had ribbons that seemed to flow from her head to her tail forming the most amazing bows, and she had these tiny antique buttons placed here and there. I just wanted to pick her up and carry her home.

'Hello dear, Welcome to Buttons and Bows. My name is Kessie, how can I help you today?
Oh, I see ... Well, Buttons and Bows is a shop that carries every type of vintage, antique, unique button or bow ever made. We have rows and rows of buttons and bows. Just take a look around and see or tell me what you are looking for and I can suggest some types for you. We also have miles and miles of ribbon as well, so I can make you a bow for any of your needs. All you have to do is ask. So take a look around and let me know if you have any questions.' And with that, she wandered off singing something about rows and rows of buttons and bows.

After browsing through the massive selection, I finally found her sitting at a table making some of the most exquisite bows I have ever seen. I stood there just watching her tiny hands move with such grace and speed. I still have no idea how she was doing it. Such a talented Popoko. She finished her bow and asked if I had found anything of interest. I handed her a few buttons and some ribbons, and asked if she thought she could make a bow for an antique doll. She quickly replied of course dear, is there a certain style you'd like and flipped around a display of different styles of bows. Oh my, I thought as I stared at the display, I quickly pointed to the styles I wanted, the whole time thinking of how I needed to bring Kenadee and Emmalyn here to see if there might be some buttons or bows for any of their project needs. And how Muggin would just love meeting Kessie.

After she had finished making the bows, she asked if there was anything else she could do for me. She boxed up my bows and checked me out. It was when she handed me my bag that I noticed her sweet companion, he just lay at her feet playing with a tiny bow. I reached down to pet him when she told me his name was Toulouse.

I took Muggin back a few days later. The two bonded immediately. Who knew a lifetime friendship was to be found in that boutique that day.

I've got to get going, but remember ...
