Slave. That word always has such a negative connotation. The renouncement of one's will in favor of another is met with disgust and shame. But this is the sacrifice a slave makes. It is an exchange, and by performing this unholy trade a slave gains a bond with their master only they may have. It is theirs. And, indeed, is perhaps their only possession.
How a slave comes to be is of little importance, really. In the end they are a creation of their master's desire. And although I know it is difficult to understand, this is the way I prefer it. I am a construct of my master's desires; her thoughts are my own, her feelings my only concern. The paradox of whether this is truly of my own accord need not apply; I cannot answer it an I am glad for this.
I was a student, striving for intellectual achievement. And now I am her puppet to manipulate to her own end. I gave my heart away to another, and so she took my mind, soul and body.
Do not misunderstand me. I am happy as I am. Fulfilled, even. I am not trapped, nor a caged animal. I am more of a pet, if you will. Whatever you may call me, know I am her's and whatever role she needs me to fulfill I will happily oblige. I belong to her. And thus, by default, she belongs to me.
