Not much is known about his history before he was found by Aspen. Enix doesn't share an aweful lot with anyone, not even his closest friend Jaren. He has been working for Aspen for many years now and looks up to him like a father even though in a lot of ways he is a poor rolemodel to have. While Aspen treats Enix with a number of privileges, these have been pulled back for a few years since Enix abandoned Az in her time of need. Aspen has not forgiven him for this and makes him pay for it dearly. When this happened Enix retreated a little and Jaren became his source of friendship. They are a team and part of Enix does not want to be seperated from her. But he cannot stop the illogical feeling that he must do whatever Aspen says, even if it was to abandon her. He doesn't let this thought scare him as it would be too much to cope with. This is an old trait of his; if he cannot handle it he will stubbornly ignore it's existence.
