It is lucky that Aspen lives in a large town house else the sheer number of books that he possesses would cause his living situation to be less than pleasant. He is a very educated man and pursues knowledge at every given opportunity. He is also scrupulously tidy which is good as though he lives in a high degree of comfort with people who employees to do all the dirty work, he is a very private person and thus doesn't like too many people around his house . Trust is a definite issue.

A man with a dark heart, Aspen doesn't really have friends. He keeps his employees close so that he can maintain control but holds back his trust for those he believes deserve it. Enixx in particular let him down badly a decade ago when he was supposed to be keeping Scaraz safe, Aspen has still not forgiven him for this especially since he had high hopes for him. He knows that Enixx looks up to him like a son to a father but emotions are not Aspen's strong suit and so he feels no remorse at treating Enixx badly until he has learnt his lesson. Around 30 years may be enough time to teach him the way of things...

Recent events have led to a few new enemies arising from the ground. Two threatening books have been sent as 'gifts' in order to warn Aspen of events to come. Frustration is the most prevalent of his emotions at this, the presumption that they would be able to beat him in a fight has set his blood boiling. Nevertheless, other things are occupying his mind at the present time so their threats will have to wait.
