Scar and Azarna have been together for some years now. They met each other when Az was in a particularly bad place and have been inseperable ever since, Scar has helped her overcome a lot of her problems. That's not to say that Az is not a strong person, it is just that she has had an inordinate amount to deal with even from a very young age. Having lost her parents at 12 to a raid and then captured and taken into a destructive life it took running away until she could find her path once more. She has been in hiding since she escaped at 20 but has finally resurfaced and come back into the world. Scar has stayed by her side even though they have left the comfort and the peace of the forest.

After a short time where they both believed they were free of the ghosts that shadow their footsteps, they learn that they are being hunted once more.
