I was taking a stroll, on the path I usually walk on, and I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I mean, the forest-fire has nothing to do with turning into a plush, right?

Anyway, nothing was out of the ordinary.

Suddenly, I felt something burst against me. A man picked me up, smiling. For a second, I wondered why he was so big, then I guessed the blast had shrunk me, which, well, it sorta did.

Then I tried to move. I couldn't move! I panicked.

I was being brought towards the fire... Was this guy a murderer!?

I was soon brought away, and placed into a child's hands. The child, seemingly unknowing of the fire, ran into the forest.

The man smiled shouting "Have fun!", while waving.

Did he know about the fire? Well, I don't know, I hope not!

Anyway, I was brought to a camp, where there were other children, smiling and waving to the newcomer. Night soon fell. One of them commented that it was warmer than the forcast, which said it would snow, and be below freezing.

My mind shouted, "RUN YOU GUYS!", but I don't know how to use telepathy. Many Kumos' started howling, and the forest grew warmer by the minute.

A Sun Keeto jumped in, singing an enchanted melody. It then stole their bags, running down the trail, just as the fire neared the camp.

I wanted to cry for help, for me and for the stone Griffin beside, but I couldn't, and neither could he.

The children ran away, following their bags, and just in time, the fire had reached their camp. Flames swirled around me, and I thought I, and the Griffin, were goners.

Then suddenly, the Keeto jumped in, badly hurt by the fire. It picked me up, and bounded back to my owner, handing me to them, while collapsing. I watched as the animated stone Griffin approached it in shock. Then, as I was brought away, I could of sworn the Keeto stood up, and sang.
