Story

Hello, my name is Borias.
I am, as it were, the result of a mad scientist’s experiment gone wrong. My father, one of those crazy, mad scientist Frankenstein creator types had been experimenting with creating different creatures and somehow, ended up creating me.
I also, oddly enough, had my brain replaced with that of a human so yes, I understand human speech and thought perfectly.
I know I’m quite atrocious looking, I’m a Pomeranian that’s had octopus legs attached to my body, and my actual legs cut off, but eh.. I consider myself quite cute in a monster-y way.

There really isn’t much to say about me other than the above. The Pomeranian that was my upper body was a lovely Pomeranian that unfortunately died from an illness, long before I was ever created, by the name of Snickers. The octopus that made up my body was a dead octopus that my creator purchased at a local fish market that as far as I know had no name. Maybe it had a name in octopus language, I'm not sure as I do not actually know if octopus have their own languages and dialects.

My human brain was rescued from a cadaver, the body that the brain originally occupied having been stolen from the local morgue. As my brain was quite preserved in the sub-zero freezer it was stored in, my memory and intellect thankfully is quite intact. I also retain the memories of the person that once owned this brain. His name was Owen, late 30s, an intellectual genius professor type that originally taught mathematics at a university. I’m not sure how much he would of liked having had his brain eventually end up in a monster animal hybrid, but eh, he’s dead. If there’s a soul, then his soul has long left this earth for the greener pastures of the afterlife.
Oh, lastly, I seem to have retained his likes and dislikes, his geeky taste for quirky sci-fi shows, his love of obscure mathematical texts and documentaries about the intricacies of math in nature. His love of journaling though I long ago abandoned that endeavor as I find it quite hard to write with tentacles. I also abandoned his love for drawing for the same reason. I think that’s all, and I think, I'll go to sleep now.
