Or which way the river's flowing
Is it raining? Is it snowing?
Is a hurricane a–blowing?
Not a speck of light is showing,
So the danger must be growing!
Are the fires of Hell a–glowing?
Is the grisly reaper mowing?
Yes, the danger must be growing!
For the rowers keep on rowing!
And they're certainly not showing,
Any signs that they are slowing!
What is time? The human measurement of the progress of consciousness, something we have learned to experience in a linear fashion, at a pace that we can unconsciously perceive as passing faster or slower. A dream state, where we accept our place in the greater flow, not realizing that we each have the power to control it.
Time is not a new world; it is not a lazy river, nor a wondrous wheel. It does not understand our very human concept of "timelines", nor that of "time travel". Only when humans can accept time as a human construct will we understand that we are already at it's beginning, middle, and end. All of everything has already occurred, has yet to occur, and is occurring. Time is not linear, cyclonic, or branched. It is a single point in space where humans have learned to only see what our minds can understand. Time passes slowly, but only for the conscious mind.
