Rain didn't get out when she was young. It took her a long time. She spent a lot of years in that place, with those people. She's getting older now, but finally she's found freedom. Now she lives alone, in a cute little cottage where it snows four or five months of the year, with ten small dogs and her closest neighbor (who she is actually friends with!) a couple miles away. She spends most of her time exploring hobbies, catching up on the books and movies and music she missed, and learning how to create her own identity as something other than "the girl that got away." It's funny... she gets a little more grey every year, as she gets older, but it's like she's seeing color for the first time. So what if she's white and grey? Those are the perfect colors to paint the rest of her life on.
