Though born in Moscow like much of the Turov Family, Nik was initially a son of the allied Kosyak Family before the eldest Turov son ordered them all slaughtered, in an attempt to eliminate one of his father's closest allies in preparation for his coup. When it turned out they couldn't kill a mere infant, soaked in blood and blessed by his kin with near invincibility in their final moments, Pyotr decided to use Nik to his advantage. Trained as the perfect killing machine and bodyguard, Nik's morals are entirely warped - especially when it comes to those he cares about. Knowing that his adopted "father" was the man who ordered his blood relatives killed, he and Grigori, the current head of the Turov Family, decided to temporarily remove Dmitri from the twisted plans Pyotr had in an already corrupted world.
