Profile: Izen is completely obsessed with paranoid delusions of a city rising up and plotting his demise. His mental health certainly isn’t the best. His physical health is even worse. He underwent a heart transplant over ten years ago, and if not for the help of Wikena, would surely be dead by now. His paranoid fears frequently cause him to have panic attacks, and, if that wasn’t bad enough, he is also an epileptic. As both of those conditions cause a huge strain on the heart, even Izen is aware that he should be dead by now. Izen hates his brother, Kurt, who he was once conjoined to. As Izen was a very sickly child, a young energetic Kurt had caused him a great deal of pain. They weren’t able to be surgically separated until they were twelve years old, as Izen had needed a heart transplant. Not wanting to be reunited with Kurt after the operation, Izen came up with a clever plan to escape the city. Although it did, in some sense, succeeded, He would have died had Wikena not rescued him but casing a spell on his heart in order to keep it from failing. Izen was later reunited with his mother, who he lived with until she died. However, he continued to refused to return home, knowing his brother would be there. When not in a state of mental melodrama, Izen enjoys researching science very much. In particular, he is very fond of chemistry. Due to putting all his free time into this field of work, Izen is a surprisingly experienced chemist. Oddly enough, he is also very good at baking sweets. This seems to be a strange trait he picked up from living with his mother for as long as he did.
