Profile: Skittish and easily frightened, Yankavitch spent his whole life as a social outcast due to an unusual “bad-luck curse†that he is afflicted with. This so-called curse brought doom to his family, causing him to be orphaned at a young age. He was moved around to different orphanages, sometimes even being kicked out by superstitious care givers. His name is often shorten to “Kavi,†which is based on the Latin word Cavi meaning “Beware!†Despite all he has been through, Kavi holds no resentment towards society. He dreams of someday belonging to a family, or at the very least, having a friend. For a while, he was being manipulated by Saberio. During this time, Falocity took pity on him, and although he was not too keen on forming a friendship with him, he did decided to teach him how to play the guitar. Kavi did eventually find a true friend in Zemma. However, Xormite is very overprotective of Zemma and will attack anyone who gets too close to her. Kavi, not one to put up a fight, is usually stuck running away from Xormite for fear of being mauled. Kavi’s bad-luck curse was later removed by Wikena, who decided to hold onto it and cast it on someone who wronged her. After losing his curse, Kavi tried hard to become more independent, and later said goodbye to his new friends altogether in order to pursue his dream of being a professional musician.
