Pupcake's Story

Come back later, I'm a work in progress. Pupcake sniffed at the doughnut, before gulping it down in one bite. She had been adopted by the lady who worked at The Bake Stop when she was just a puppy, which meant she got to taste-test all their baked goods. Pupcake's mother had been a stray, who'd been abandoned just after giving birth to four puppies. Pupcake had been the runt and only girl of her litter, which made getting the food she needed difficult, especially with three big brothers pushing her out of the way. But being small did seem to prove useful when a van came to take her family to Adopt-R-Us. Not knowing what to do, Pupcake had ran strait through a door, and hid under a couch. Hours later, she finally crept out and froze. stairing at her was a human! For a moment, she thought the human would take her to the same place her family had gone. But instead, the human quietly asked if she would like to stay. Pupcake gave a happy yip, which meant, yes!
