Revamping overlays!

From the date I was conceived, I was conceived to fight. I was and am the 'Seed of Big Boss'. I'm man-made, solely created to be the "perfect soldier". I'm but a trained killer that's good at what he does...killing. I find it hard to accept people into my life... They only complicate things.No I don't enjoy killing... I can't. But I do, staring death in the face... It makes me feel alive and nothing else does.

I loved her, I still love her. I didn't want to leave her but it was for her own good, I'm nothing. A shadow of a man, whose path is paved with dead bodies, how do people like me even love after the atrocities they've committed in the name of their country? They don't truly live, they just breath and take orders.

I have no purpose, no main goal. I'm no hero... Never was. Like Raven said I'll never find peace. It's like this is written into my genetic code or something. I'm nothing but a grunt who accepts anything the pentagon dishes out without a word. Not anymore... I'm not anyone's pawn any longer. I'm doing things for myself and no one else. And atleast create a better world so people don't have to go through what I've been through.

Heh seems like I've found my purpose after all. And "The best is yet to come"...

Early in his career he joined the Green Berets then he joined the black operations and espionage unit known as FOX-HOUND in the early nineties, ironically led by his Father, Big Boss. Who taught him CQC as well as having the will to survive the battlefield. Once he "killed" Big Boss, he left the unit. He later returned to combat the newer members of FOX-HOUND in 2005, during the Shadow Moses incident in which he was instructed infiltrate the stolen base that FOXHOUND took over, they threatened to launch a nuke but wanted Snake to activate Metal Gear REX for them because they murdered the DARPA chief without getting his password. The U.S Government simply wanted Metal Gear REX intact so Snake was infected with FOX-DIE so he could come in contact with and kill the rebels through infection via air. For a short period he stayed with Meryl (His lover at the time) but lost contact with her. After that he joined Hal Emmerich's (Otacon) group Philanthropy (Anti-metal gear group) to destroy metal gears as they were being built, one of these missions were known as the Tanker Incident in which Snake was framed as the culprit that sank the massive tanker by "The Patriots" and he "died" on the tanker. Two years later, the Big Shell Incident was discovered to be a reconstruction of Shadow Moses incident, only difference was Raiden was the grunt sent in and Snake was presumed deceased/aided Raiden to an extent. Solid Snake retired and returned in 2014 to do his final mission (After the Big Shell incident in 2009, his body began to rapidly age) which was to stop Liquid Ocelot's Insurrection, but he ended up destroying the SOP or "Guns of the Patriots" system and freeing the world of "The Patriots". After this event Snake went to live the rest of his short life with Otacon, & Sunny.
