Burien is the head priest at Psione’s main temple in Llyn, and one of the only Maharan priests in Pridd. He left his herd after years of shunning due to his small, underdeveloped horns and his gift of light magic. Decided to travel to Llyn, where he fell in love with the teachings of Psione and devoted himself to her service.

Despite his somewhat troubled upbringing, Burien is very even-tempered and empathetic. He has a very typical INFP personality – another thing that really made him stick out in his old herd.

• 28-31 years old
• Long, straight white hair and hazel eyes. Likes to accent his features with bright white/silver makeup
• On the tall/lanky side. Very small, black horns that look more like antlers.
• Dressed in typical Pridd priest clothing with the more muted, soft, white and grey tones typical of Psione’s priests. However likes to accent with some other pastels. Really enjoys wearing hair accessories that help compliment his horns - he isn’t ashamed of how small they are any longer.
• Burien is good at remaining calm in even the most stressful situations; sometimes he can even come across as bored or withdrawn, though this is hardly the case. Truly believes his calling in life is to make the world a better place. Being a light mage likely contributes to him having very strong empathy.
• Trained in armed combat, especially with swords.
• He is utterly bewildered by Chelan and his apparent lack of disrespect for both the gods and his fellow mortals. Interacts quite a bit with Matthias and Virgil by passing on information he may have heard regarding gifted youngsters. He has… thoughts about Fyfe, whom he has to deal with on a regular basis. They are not good.
