The Runaway Priest

notes about Chelan while I actually work on him:
A priest from the Temple of Aello in Praelyth. When she fell, her temples were all destroyed, and Chelan was one of the only survivors. He is now traveling with his companion Áine to try and find Aello’s followers and help restore her to Theede.

Chelan was raised in the temple and honestly wouldn’t consider himself the most devout follower. He is rather arrogant for his age, and he has very little patience for people that annoy him. He would prefer to travel alone, but Áine seems to insist on going with Kali's group.

• 18 years old
• Long, platinum blonde hair and bright blue eyes
• Like many of Aello’s priests, wears a rather colorful variety of feathers and blossoms in his hair. However, may take it a bit overboard.
• Wears the typical clothing of a priest.
• Extremely prissy. A bit of a peacock. Hates being on the road. Hates camping. Hates not getting an hour every morning to make himself look nice.
• The only person in his traveling group that he really seems to have patience for is Harris. Finds Kali childish, Schauss rude, Ciconii loud and obnoxious, and Zygs even louder and more obnoxious than Ciconii is.
• Chelan himself has no magic, but Áine channels her power through him. Because of this, he’s been able to pick up quite a few skills (as long as Áine is near him).

Áine
Chelan calls her his “companion”, though she seems more like a pet. She has a body shape similar to a kitten with a very long, fluffy/feathery tail, a bird-like beak, and large wings. Her fur is bright yellow, and the tips of her tail, paws, and wings are green-to-blue. Chelan treats her almost humanly, constantly talking to her and asking her for advice as they travel. If she can answer, certainly no one else can hear her.This pet is a work in progress!
