Aello was a member of the gods of Theede, and may have perhaps been the most beloved by the people of Pridd. She was young and opinionated, but caring and dedicated to the mortals under her control. Aello's temples in Pridd were never wanting for dedications and offerings, and they were all well-kept and clean.

However, during the quest of the evil wizard Allandis to overthrow the goddess Psione and enter Theede by force, Aello came to the aide of the lovers Aeron and Carys to help them complete a spell that would seal him. Unfortunately, she sacrificed herself in doing this.

Diplomacy

Pridd is not the only country in the vicinity, of course. Due to only partially touching the ocean, Pridd is surrounded by several other countries. They are mostly on amicable terms with their neighbors, with some healthy trade routes in and out. Pridd is not an especially war- or territory-hungry country, but does keep a standing army to defend itself from aggressive neighbors (IE, Ysdril.)

Generally speaking, countries that Pridd itself is on good terms with translate into good relationships between the gods of those countries as well. For example, the gods of Pridd in Theede have a very uneasy truce with the gods of Ysdril, in Holdren. This relationship usually mirrors the relationship between Pridd and Ysdril themselves. The last large conflict between the two countries was several hundred years ago (the conflict during which Cairn died, perhaps?)
