Andi was once a scrawny thief living in the southern area of Pridd. Although he was not the best pick-pocket in the world, he managed to get by and provide himself with enough for survival. However, around his nineteenth birthday, Andi went through several changes. It was bad enough that he hit a very late growth-spurt, suddenly shooting up in height as well as clumsiness, but the worst part were the relentless headaches, the random dizzy spells, and the strange bursts of magical power that he could not control.
It did not take long for the wrong eyes to notice Andi and his strange tendencies, and he was soon captured by magic slave-traders planning to put a hefty price on his person. Chained in a basement holding area while he waited to be auctioned, Andi passed away long days by talking to the disembodied voice of Telamaine, who encouraged him to stay strong and he could find a way to free himself. Andi did find a way, though it was not what Telamaine nor anyone expected: after one too many days of torture, his powers exploded, destroying his captors and the building in which he was being held, nearly destroying himself. Telamaine was able to intervene just before Andi's unintentional suicide, and the boy was brought to Theede.
Here, he learned how to use and control his power, and he served as Telamaine's second-in-command for several years before becoming a God in his own right. Andi is a constant source of headache for Telamaine, who often wishes he would "grow up a bit" and act more like a proper God should act. One thing Telamaine often ignores, however, is that Andi is perhaps the most beloved of all the Gods: his attachment to mortality and his easy-going smile make him very endearing to the citizens of Pridd, particularly those in his jurisdiction. Perhaps the cause of an even larger headache is the knowledge that Andi is quite fond of Telamaine -- and while Telamaine does his best to brush off Andi's advances, no one can deny that there is... something between the two of them.
Andi is symbolized on mortal Pridd as a small wildcat, similar to an ocelot. He is often associated with the moon and solstice, believed to be a descendant of the moon itself. Because of his own cat-like tendencies, Andi is often seen surrounded by a couple of house-cats, and has been known to visit Pridd and return home with a stray or two.
