notes about Chukar while I work on him:
A rather playful earth mage. His father was one of the first employees of Fremont Energies and wanted Chukar to follow in his footsteps. However, Chukar saw Fremont Energies for what it was - even back then - and got into some terrible fights with his father over it. Eventually runs away from home as a teenager to avoid being forced into a life he doesn’t want, is found by Virgil, and taken into his custody instead.

Probably one of the most trying times Virgil ever had raising someone. Not because he isn’t a hard worker or a good kid – but once he was in a place where he could thrive, ended up being friendly to an absolute fault. Had to have a lot of lectures from Virgil about not going out to make random friends and that no, you can’t have a party every night, sometimes sleeping is important, too. Virgil was probably planning on sending Chukar to Theede regardless soon to let him take a place in the guard, but when Iah needed a new Sage of Revelry, Virgil knew Chukar was perfect.
