What the humans call "trash" I call treasure.

They are so resourceful and capable of making wondrous things!

Even so, they just throw it away! What a waste,

well unless they throw it in the ocean,

then is up for grabs by me.I am not stupid like the other fish,

trying to eat it as if it were food. No,

I know they have a use and when it is not apparent,

I just use it to make art with.

Seriously, it is amazing what they can do with stuff.

Like sand! They use sand and they make glass from it.

Glass is so beautiful especially when the light hits it.

It is just a shame I can't be myself around them.

I'm a mermaid so from the waist up I could be one of them,

but a long long long time ago they hunted us down.

So now to be careful I just disguise myself as a dolphin.

They are friendly and the humans love them.

They don't even mind when I being cute with tricks that I purposely

slap my tail to knock off their items into the ocean.

I got a thing they call a camera but sadly it won't

flicker like it does out of the water.
