God's Wildflowers

I stand at the edge of a forest,
before me the golden sun beams down on a field of wildflowers that stretches almost past my sight.
A dazzling array of colors, shapes, sizes, designs, growth journey, reproductive methods -
I fall into worship at the diversity,
a reflection of God's creativity, genius, and beauty.
The flowers blow gently in a soft, chilly breeze.
A sea of magic.

I walk along the old forest path, and emerge on the highest hill,
looking down at the city below,
a diversity of unique individuals,
no one quite the same
A dazzling array of colors, shapes, sizes, designs, growth journey, reproductive methods
I fall into worship,
for this too is the reflection,
the creativity and genius and beauty,
too big to hold at once.

The sun feeds me
it warms my soul,
my leaves blow gently in the breeze
I swing my hands at my sides joyfully as I walk,
I settle comfortably into my home,
my roots reach into the earth.

Here I am,
amongst wildflowers.
A sea of diversity,
a reflection of God's creativity, genius, and beauty,
each perfectly and intentionally made,
all full of inherent value and purpose,
a story of love.

I fall into worship,
a singing flower,
thankful to see.
