Every night before bed, her mother had told her a story that should have been frightening: Scary Evil Queen. Huntsman ordered to cut out her heart. Lost in dark woods with grabby trees. Dwarves, dwarves, more dwarves. Old peddler lady giving her a strangling ribbon. Old peddler lady giving her a poisoned comb. Old peddler lady giving her a poisoned apple. Crunch. Gasp. Faint (beautifully). Dead sleep. Cold glass coffin. Empty dreams. Then… kiss. Wake. Prince! Cheering dwarves. Huge choreographed dance number. Happily Ever After.
Even the scary parts of the Snow White story never scared Apple, because it was known. It was her mother’s story, and her mother assured her that one day that same story would be hers.

Dear Diary,
Saying goodbye to everyone today was so hard. Briar made it a little bit easier, she texted me almost the entire day. My family and the dwarves were amazing as well. Reminding me how much I am going to rock at Legacy Day and to follow my destiny, even going as far as reminding me about the fact that Darling Charming would be there.
Too bad I heard servants talking about me when I left. Apparently all they think I am good for is my looks and that my destiny is based solely on that. I'll show them. I'll show them all. I am worth so much more than my looks.

Dear Diary,
My roommate at Ever After High is Raven Queen! It took a little bit of work to convince them to let me share a room with her, given who her mother is after all. She refuses to follow our destinies. She wants to be good and if she doesn't follow her destiny then how can I follow mine?
I will do whatever it takes to remind Raven of her destiny and make her see that she has to follow it. She is going to ruin every Happily Ever After if she keeps convincing the other Rebels (and some Royals!) to change their destiny.

Dear Diary,
A prank at Ever After High went royally wrong and turned the school into a spelltacular mess. When I tried to help, I ended up making everything worse! Now Headmaster Grimm thinks I was in on it with Kitty Cheshire, Lizzie Hearts, and Faybelle Thorn, and we're all on castle clean up duty!
As punishment for the prank, the most enchanting dance of the year has been canceled, and fables are spreading that it's all my fault. But maybe I can still save the day-and the dance-if we fix up the school in time! Let's just hope we can finally see crown to crown...
