Aurorain is from the dimension 5.2A. She was a rebel leader in the small band of forces that dared to go against the man who declared himself the head of the nations. A pompous and cruel man who used multiple people to continue his rule who may have been even more vicious than he.
Aurorain stole a device to allow her to skip dimensions in the hopes she could not only escape her world, but find something to save it. Every new dimension she has visited she's continued her rebellious streak, and has tried to lend her aid in the time she spends looking for a solution for her own world.
However it is unknown whether or not her dimension knows of what she has done and if it will send reinforcements to bring her back once they do...

Aurorain panted as she put her hand on the railing, using it to help pull her up the last step. That climb never got any easier yet considering it had to be over 1,000 steps, she supposed it never would. The wide window greeted her as it always did, the expanse of the destroyed landscape sprawling before her. In the distance was a massive pillar of black clouds, angry lightning sparkling around it like a shield as it erupted from the ground to send smog in the air. The radiation was so thick it tinted the very air a pink hue as if the entire land was bathed in sunset. She could feel it burning through her lungs with every ragged breath she took, and knew one day this would be the death of her if she kept coming up here. If those demons, spirits, and other hellish creatures in this tower didn't do it first. A ball of light suddenly shot towards her and she gave a breathless laugh as it fluttered around her.
"Hey, I missed you too," she murmured. It glowed warmly and she felt it brush through the back of her hair. She walked across the attic floor, dragging a worn stool over and tiredly plopping into it. She kept her back to the window as she began taking her backpack off to dig through it. The flashing of the light grabbed her attention and she brought her eyes up to look at the floating sphere. "I know you don't like me coming here, but I'm not about to leave you alone." Its light dimmed slightly in response and Aurorain sighed as she brought two glasses out. She filled both with a clear liquid and held up one to the ball. "Cheers, my friend." It hesitated before sinking into the liquid, causing her to laugh as she took a sip of her own. "One day, I promise I'll get you out of here. But until then... I'll keep coming to keep you company." The ball lifted out of the glass slightly before settling on the bottom once again. Aurorain smiled weakly as she set the glass on her knee, eyes turning towards the steps that by tonight, she would be braving once again.
