god of stories, change, and growth

Once upon a time...

Welcome to my garden. I see you've found yourself a book from my shelves. That one's an old tale—it's been told many times before. You could probably recite it from memory if you tried.

But wait—are you sure you're remembering it correctly? Maybe it doesn't end the way you recall. Maybe the knight doesn't save the princess—or maybe he does. Maybe the world is saved—and maybe it isn't. It depends on who's telling the story.

That's my role; I tell stories. But no story is told the same way twice. Each time is a little different. It's just like my flowers here; each of them grow differently from each other. Some sprout more buds, or bushier leaves, or turn out to be an entirely different color than I expected. And each one starts from a tiny seed or bulb before sprouting into the beautiful plants you see before you now.
