The last Archon of the Fomorians ; Lucifer deposed the dictator that previously ruled their people and helped establish the Auroran Empire. Despite this, he hates politicians and does not have much tolerance for their squabbling. An accomplished sorcerer and scientist, he holds the title "Archmage of the Trinity" for his mastery.

Lucifer was born to a small family in the Fomorian undercity [A subsurface city on the homeworld of Fomoria] of The Dredges. His parents worked for the Reclaimers, which meant that they collected the dead, limbs, or 'donated' body parts for desynthesis (also called Reclamation, which was the harvesting of resources from 'company property', aka individuals who were not keeping up with their taxes or had died with significant debts). They were a fairly poor family and lived in a small apartment.

At the age of twelve, Lucifer got into trouble with the law for discussing anti-government sentiments. He was beaten viciously in his own home, but in the scuffle managed to pickpocket a cop and steal his first holocrystal (the Fomorian equivalent of a smartphone). The next day he approached a hacker who attended his school named Eurydice and they became inseparable companions until Lucifer dropped out of schooling at sixteen to assist his family.

Two years later, he was kicked out of his home for possessing contraband software. His family did not report him to the police, but they refused to have him under their roof. Lucifer drifted from abandoned apartment, to warehouse, to factory for a few years as he worked jobs from a lottery in hopes of earning enough to escape The Dredges.

During a routine mining job, Lucifer came across a cluster of mysterious crystals deep within an unexplored cavern. After fusing with one of them, it gave him the ability to alter fortune (in minuscule ways). Using the power it granted him, he was eventually able to escape The Dredges and claw his way to the top of Fomorian society.
