Persona of Syn

There is darkness in this corner of her mind. The only thing that has brought even hints of something that could cast a shadow is the array of neon strobes. It’s nothing extreme or bothersome, rather just a comfort. There are moments that create a glitch in the system. It is distorting. It brings an overwhelming chaos that needs to be silenced. Not even music can calm the storm. It is unfortunate that it has to settle on its own. Depending on the storm, it can be short-term or long-term. That heavy fog that just makes the day hard to compute. It honestly makes her want to give up.

Creation. This beacon of hope programmed itself into her system. This presence was a warmth. A virus that was welcomed. Their bond is chaotic, destructive even. Alas, the hiccup that gave her purpose. Synth waves were brought to life between them. A sweet romance. One that hit the soul deep. It created a vibrant fire that echoed like a heavenly vibration. Within her mind, she could not see his true form. It was as though he was a static form that was so close, yet so far away.

There is another storm. This time it brings rain. One that clears the fog. Did this static bring it as a gift? It might be loud, but it is a comforting noise. It’s the only constant thing that doesn’t bring destruction. Perhaps a cleanse. Is this supposed to be the plug-in that stabilizes her? It seems to be working. It is what true bliss is meant for. It is a heavy burden that is temporarily erased from existence until somehow it worms its way back in. For now, she is grateful. For now, she’ll have neon dreams instead of endless fog that weighs her down.
