The destruction she saw on her travels made Nimbus very heartsick and she lost all urge to be a soldier. Adrift in a new world she heard about Celebony's home for the war torn and decided to check it out.
There she found a family and a new identity for herself. Nimbus quickly decided that someone needed to protect her new family from outside conflicts and strove to become a protector of the innocent and helpless.
Not only does Nimbus enjoy flying around Subeta but she also loves checking out different galaxies other than our own. She believes that someone could be in need of help anywhere, anytime. During one of Nimbus’s yearly patrols around the Galaxy, she came across a Spectrum Kerubi that had gotten too near a black hole. Before her very eyes, she watched as the struggling Kerubi was slowly leached of its colours. The black hole would soon surely suck the Kerubi in as well. Nimbus didn't hesitate and flew off to help him. She used all of her strength and pulled the Kerubi out of the black holes reach. Once they were a safe distance away and able to rest on a barren planet they introduced themselves. Only then did Nimbus notice that she was affected from the black hole just as the Kerubi was. Only, where the Kerubi had become a Black Light Kerubi Nimbus had lost all of her colour. Though very sad, Apus strove to be cheerful as she and the Kerubi made the long journey home.
Along the way to Subeta something mysterious happened to Nimbus. Perhaps some unknown Entity saw what she had done for the Kerubi or all the others she had helped. Perhaps this entity wanted to reward such a strong and caring warrior. We may never know, but upon flying past the sun that lit Subeta's sky, Nimbus was suddenly enveloped in a beam of pure sun light. Nimbus had been reborn! Her pure heart and fighting spirit shines through her very skin and everyone can now see what a great Subetan she is.
