Noruen is quite the flirt. He likes to be in the spotlight, and lives on attention. Big crowds and meeting new people are both something he enjoys. He can be a bit of a troublemaker, especially for his family. But he doesn’t really care so long as he’s having some fun along the way.
He doesn’t like it when people get too ‘friendly’ with him if he’s not interested. Pushy people are one of his pet peeves, especially if they’re drunk. Of course, he’s not, not interested very often. Noruen is fond of dancing and music. And of course, fond of anyone who wants to dance with him.
Noruen, although he doesn’t look it, is actually pretty smart. Back in his younger years, his family thought he’d be something worth while, like a doctor or lawyer. But as some kids do, Noruen went into that ‘other crowd.’ Noruen also hides a bit of a softer side, he can be easily hurt by others’ words. He won’t show it in front of them however, he will play it up until he gets home. Many times Noruen stays up at night crying.
Noruen used to be a bit lonely on the inside of his very out-going personality. After his family practically disowned him and two bad break-ups, he had almost given up on finding anyone he could call his own. But after he met Millian, and they became exclusive, that loneliness went away. Noruen now only flirts with Millian, only dances with Millian, and only does all that he used to with him.

Noruen was born into a rather stiff and conservative family. He was the only child, so expected to carry on the family name and set a good example. All throughout his school days, Noruen was top of his class and involved in a lot of clubs. His parents had high hopes for him. But, when he was sixteen a friend of a friend took him along with them to a club. From that day on, Noruen began to realize just how trapped he had been.
The first time he kissed a guy was some months later. Again, Noruen realized something about himself he hadn’t really thought of before. But it wasn’t until he was eighteen that it got him in some trouble. He had brought home one of his flings, thinking his parents were still off on holiday. But, unfortunately they had to catch an earlier flight due to a storm, and caught them together. His father was furious. While he could deal with the change in clothes, and the hair dye, this was something he wasn’t going to stand for.
Noruen was kicked out of his parents’ home, and stayed with friends until he was able to get a job to pay for his own apartment. He busses tables at a local restaurant, and barely makes by with his bills. Mostly because he tends to spend it on party clothes, or other fun things.
About a year ago, Noruen met a waiter at the restaurant he worked with. The two instantly clicked and went out on a few dates. However after a while, it became apparent that the man he’d come to know in the restaurant wasn’t what he thought. The other would come home drunk and take his anger out on Noruen. Noruen was just a fool in love, and put up with it for three long months before he walked in on his boyfriend with another person, a girl no less, and Noruen was left to nurse his heart again. That boyfriend still occasionally finds him at his job to harass him.
While he had before slept with people for just a one night thrill, Noruen had thought he’d found someone who he could stop for, but he had been wrong. He kept up his partying, only because dancing was one of the few times he was not sad. And that’s when he met Millian. The two danced together, and Noruen had felt something he hadn’t in a long time. The two began dating, but it was not exclusive, at least on Millian’s side. And that hurt Noruen, but he was in love again.
Recently however, it became too much for Noruen. And he had to find out if Millian loved him as much as he did him, so he gave up his apartment, sold most of his things and bought a simple gold ring. And Millian accepted it.
Noruen is currently living with Millian in his home. The two spend the days sleeping and resting together, and the nights dancing in clubs. And he’s happier than he ever remembers being.
