Gen'ya has a minion!

Lady the Glady

Gen'ya was a field Legeica born and raised in the region of Veta Lake, known for it's plant life and abundant gardens. She has always been a lover of the outdoors and a master green thump, yet for some reason she always felt that there was more to the world than just working the gardens all day long.

She left her home and made for Centropolis, falling for the clever (or perhaps not so clever) marketing that claimed it was the place to go to find yourself and fulfill your dreams. She soon learn that more than anything it was easy to loose yourself in the big city. She began to feel out of place there.

She found a job at a small bakery and began to just live her life from day to day, hoping for a sign to point her in the right direction. She liked to talk to the various customers about their reasons for being in the city and what their dreams were. Sometimes they were good stories that lifted her spirits and made her feel hopeful, but a lot of the time they just made her feel worse.

Wanting to fit in she did as everyone else seemed to do and decided to change her appearance, using two whole paychecks to splurge on an Arid potion. If she hadn't been so good about saving all her money before then she probably wouldn't have been able to make her rent.

Things picked up for her when a Common Legeica name Mirava was also hired at the bakery. The two became fast friends. It was as if they had known each other their whole lives. However, the two of them often hung out with Mirava's childhood friend Koukon, a Twlilight Legeica who sometimes gave off an unpleasant vibe.

Eventually Mirava and Koukon had a falling out, and Mirava left for the moon of Atebus, leaving Gen'ya alone for a whole year. It was lonely at first, but then one day a customer asked her out on a date. He was a young Marsh Legeica name Blosouma, and Gen'ya accepted. They two dated casually for a few months, but eventually came to an end. The two remained on good terms with each other, however, and Blosouma would come into the bakery often to chit chat.

Eventually Mirava returned from Atebus and the two somehow managed to convince the owner of the bakery to give her her job back. Gen'ya was thrilled to have her friend back, even if not in full capacity like before. Mirava now spent almost all of her free time outside of work in training for the battle arena. But Gen'ya knew from the start that it was Mirava's dream, but now it was more than that; Mirava was on a quest to save Koukon's soul.

One night while home alone Gen'ya stared at her reflection in a mirror. She wondered why she ever bothered changing from Field to Arid, but she didn't dare waste any more money on a potion. At least not yet.

But that wasn't really what bothered her. She came to Centropolis hoping to fill a void that only seemed to grow bigger with each passing day. She'd go home if her pride allowed it, but she was too afraid of everyone thinking her a failure. She felt stuck.

Flipping on the news Gen'ya caught an interesting interview between famed reporter Titania McGee and some Botonist named Emma. The latter woman had discovered a species of flower long thought extinct, and in addition to that a magical, hidden glade...
