{History}:
Born with a rare disease,Dominik didn't have many friends,as he never really left his house because of his constant sickness.
The one thing that brought him joy in this world,the one thing that distracted him from his loneliness was candy.And the candy he loved more than any other was candy canes.
Even just seeing a candy cane would bring a smile to his face,they reminded him of his parents,when the were happy.He had always loved christmas,because that's when his parents would but him candy canes and that's when his parents were happy together.
But as he grew older,his parents bought them less and less,eventually the stopped buying them at all,during this time,his parents became more distant from each other and eventually divorced.
Dominik became very upset and confused as to why his parents would do this to him,since they were the only people he ever really knew,and eventually on the Christmas of the year he turned 19,Dominik's parents decided to get back together,just to make him happy. But on that christmas Dominik's time had ended,his disease caught up to him and he died sitting near the tree in his wheelchair.
He didn't even get to open the gift he was holding.
It was a box full of candy canes.
