In The Garden

Alivia has always been a nurturer. As a young girl she spent most of her free time outside looking for stray minions. She'd slowly built up trust with them; leaving out food and shelter from the rain; and when they felt safe, she brought them home. Carefully swaddling them up, she'd let them sleep in her doll beds.

As she grew older she began volunteering anywhere she could find. Cleaning dog kennels at the local animal shelter; serving food at the homeless shelter; donating to Charity when she had a few sP to share. Alivia began to dream of her future, of the mother she one day wanted to become.

Alivia and her husband, Quillian, came into great fortune early on in their marriage. Even though they were quite young, they had their lives planned. Alivia dreamed of a huge house, filled with children, and a blooming front yard. Quillian's father built them a beautiful mansion atop a flowery hill. Alivia got to work on a garden.

They soon had a daughter, who they named Jayme. She filled their home with a joy they hadn't realized was missing. One sunny afternoon, at the park, they met two siblings, Evanthe and Bernard. Evanthe, the older one, held Bernard's hand tightly, their eyes wide with uncertainty. Alivia and Quillian learned that the children had ran away from their home.

Their hearts ached for Evanthe and Bernard. After many discussions and paperwork, they welcomed them into their family. The mansion on the hill was now filled with laughter, sometimes loud, sometimes chaotic, but always full of love. Alivia's dream of a big family had come true.
