[b]Short Bio[/b]

As an Ensign, Ezri was assigned to the [i]U.S.S. Destiny[/i] as the ship's assistant counselor. The ship was tasked with taking the Dax symbiont to Trill after the death of its former host [url="http://www.subeta.net/pets/Jadzia+Dax"]Jadzia[/url], but before the ship reached Trill, complications with the symbiont caused it to be placed into Ezri, the only Trill on board the ship at the time. Ezri, who had never planned to be joined, had trouble coping with the nine lifetimes worth of memories that came with Dax. She sometimes forgot her name, which memories belonged to her, and which belonged to the other hosts, and even her gender. Joining also caused a change in dexterity-- right hand to left. In an attempt to learn more about who she had been, she sought out her old friend of two life times, Benjamin Sisko. She found readjusting to the station hard-- especially when Worf refused to have anything to do with her, as he felt that she dishonored Jadzia's memory. He eventually relented and the two became good friends. When Worf left the station, he gave Ezri one of his Bat'leth. She was afraid to enter into a relationship with Jadzia's old friend Julian Bashir, but eventually did. She performed the Trill Right of Emergence to make Joran help her catch a serial killer on the station.

As a child, Ezri's main interests were dreaming of escape. She and her mother did not get along, and her father was barely present.
