Majidah, like her name, is glorious to behold when in full gusto. When it comes to her spells they are always flashy, tornadoes of flame, flying carpets and djinni larger then life are not uncommon sights with her ... 'subtle' is not a word in her magical vocabulary.
Mind you, subtly is her forte when it comes to dealing with the creatures born of smokeless flame (djinn, ifrit). Majidah knows how to work with their innate hubris to trick, enslave and bind them into objects such as bottles, lamps and rings.

When not drawing down flames, summoning djinni to do her bidding, binding wicked ifrit into bottles or controlling the very elements themselves Majidah is rather sly, wise, sociable and learned. She loves to read, write poetry, weave tapestries and carpets, and dance is a certain passion of hers. Mjidah enjoys the finer things in life; silks, gold and fine jewelry, and this has been her occational downfall since it sometimes borders into near greed.
Due to her risky dealings with creatures of such immense power she is quite the clever diplomat. She knows how to use word-plays, and flattery flows from her tounge like honey.

Despite her tendancy to enslave djinni she has a very kind personality. Djinni can be very wicked and capricious, often with lack of morals and bringing havoc down upon those who do not deserve such misfortune. So Majidah tricks and imprisons or enslaves the djinni who are a problem, but those who are not a threat, or have learned to behave themselves, she leaves be. Majidah prefers making deals of paid service from good djinn, and will go out of her way to release one who has been unjustly imprisoned in an item. But the wicked ifrit are another story and this sha'ira delights in tricking and enslaving them.



Powers: A very potent spell caster/sorceress. Specializing in flashy elemental magic, djinni summoning/binding, and crafting magical items (ones with an arabic feel; flying carpets, djinni bottles, wonderous trinkets, etc)
