Being the tyrannical monarch of Underland, Iracebeth rules with the sole purpose of being feared. Her reign of terror has been consuming Underland ever since Alice Kingsleigh left this once magical realm. Even though her subjects often question whether she is the rightful heir to the throne, they do so inconspicuously, so as not to rouse the Queen's wrathful temper.
Her one loyal companion, Ilosovic Stayne (Or, Knave of Hearts) often guides her through her tantrums and persists in reminding her that being feared is better then being loved. Iracebeth often doubts this, but soon comes to realize the truth in his sayings.
Stayne always had a special place with Iracebeth, no matter the circumstance he would never leave her. Would he?
