"The Dog of Morning Twilight"

Most everyone knows of my brother, Kerberos, but few ever give me notice. I am Orthros, the hound of two heads born of Ekhidna and Typhon, Guardian of Master Geryon's red cattle on the sunset isle of Erytheia, and sire of the Sphinx and Nemean Lion.

When Heracles sailed to Erytheia on his golden ship, I smelled his scent and went after him. Unfortunately, Heracles struck me down with his club, and when the cattle herder Eurytion came to help, he was slewn shortly after. My 3-bodied, 4-winged Master Geryon was then felled by Heracles as well. Heracles then herded the cattle onto his golden boat, and led them to Peloponnese.
