In the early morning of October 8th, 1997, 19 year old Bridgett Harmon was dropped off at her job at a Waffle House restaurant in South Carolina by her father. She was expected to work her regular morning shift before returning home mid-afternoon. She had been a waitress at this location for just over a year.

After her shift was over, her coworkers report seeing her get into a dark blue ford car, driven by a young adult male, with dark brown hair wearing a white baseball cap. This was the last time she was seen alive. When Bridgett did not return home by the late evening, her family knew something was wrong.

At the time of her disappearance, Bridgett's family were not aware of her being in a relationship or seeing anyone casually. Her ex-boyfriend was questioned in regards to her disappearance, however he did not match the witness's description of the driver. He was also confirmed to be at work at his own job during the time Bridgett was last seen.

To this date, Police have not been able to identify the driver of the car. He is considered the prime suspect in her disappearance.

Bridgett is 5'6, 130 pounds. She has light brown hair, hazel eyes and freckles. She was last seen wearing a light blue short sleeved button up shirt, and blue jeans with a white bandana in her hair. She was carrying a small yellow backpack. Her case remains unsolved.
